Pokemon is a fairly loveable idea. In spite of this, Pokemon Tower Defense? This game’s certainly different from everything you might expect from your title. You won’t exactly be slinging out Charizard’s Flamethrower or Squirtle’s Water Gun. Instead, the game involves an easy concept. You have Pokemon, that you simply place in designated slo-ts throughout the map. Evil pokemon stream as a result of steal and carry back pokemon candy. You move your pokemon around these sl-ots as it flings itself repeatedly to strike the aggressors.
It’s a decent concept, although the execution this is sadly lacking. The art style is a little jarring – gradients blended with pixelated Gameboy-style sprites. The exact animations from the tower defense gameplay are almost nonexistent, and the whole “gotta-catch-em -all” gameplay of clickergames.in doesn’t layer adequately into this video game. As there is promise, it’s simply not tapped very well. And annoyingly, there’s a login/signup system – you have to give your email before you decide to play.
The great thing is the story, which happens to be told via cutscenes that get you back to the likes of Pokemon LeafGreen and may genuinely come up with a Pokemaniac smile. They think a lttle bit like a rushed Flash rendering according to 89dexrpky standard Pokemon intro. As always, there’s an evil team wreaking havoc – although the text isn’t presented such as the original Gameboy games, it feels like more attention was provided to the cutscenes compared to actual gameplay. The complete impression is of a game haphazardly thrown together. However, it’s totally worth playing only if you like scarymaze.in and tower defense games. 7 from 10.
